Mandy Wray is the owner of Alpenglow Luxury Camping, LLC and built the decks and frames for tents in 2015. She started as an intern for MICA Guides in 2009 and over the years became a lead guide for MICA Guides and Exposure Alaska. Her love of the Matanuska Valley has led her to open Alpenglow where she can start to set roots of her own close to where it all began in 2009.

Mandy lives in Alaska seasonally and her winter jobs have included places all around the world like Fox Glacier in New Zealand and whale camps in Baja, Mexico. She always enjoys returning home to Alaska every summer where friends are like family and the Alaskan wilderness is her backyard.

Everything on the MICA property has been built over the years by Don Wray, the owner of MICA Guides, Mandy and the many guides who call this place home for the summer. The hours of hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and laughter is what make this place truly unique as a 21st century Alaskan homestead. Below are some pictures of how it all came to be...
